Based in the Hudson Valley of New York State, Jeff makes music... sometimes for film, television, new media and occasionally, for his own personal enjoyment. LUNESCAPES Vol. 1 (to be released in 2017) will be Jeff's first full-length, solo release. Recorded in the kitchen of his house in Saugerties, NY - on a sometimes unruly upright piano, the Lunescapes offer a series of instrumental vignettes, intimate landscapes, and lo-fi fantasies. The writing and recording for Vol. 2 is nearly complete and will be finished later in 2017.

Jeff's first opportunity to write music to picture came in 2005, then a member of the band MERCURY REV, writing & producing the original score for Robinson Savary's feature length debut, Bye Bye Blackbird. Since then, he has written music for 2 feature length films, numerous shorts and most recently, commercial advertising campaigns from the likes of: Apple/Beats by Dre, BMW, Sherwin Williams, John Frieda and many more. When he's not in the studio or fly-fishing the legendary streams of the Catskill Mountains, Jeff is also a member of ULTRAAM (an improvising spazz-jazz/noise-rock collective) and one third of the newly formed project LAKES OF MAINE (w/co-conspirators D. James Goodwin & Ryan Ross Smith).
